Jan Attridge is figurative painter who has worked as a theatre dyer-painter, graphic designer, astrologer, and master teacher. Attridge was born in Marshall, Minnesota. She earned a BA. at the Minneapolis College of Art, and after finishing a second degree at Stephen's College, in Columbia, MO, she completed her studies both at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, and Boston Museum School. Over the past thirty years, Attridge has taught and exhibited throughout Minnesota, including galleries such as Kilbride Bradley, Walker Art Center, Bottega, Guthrie Theatre, Minnetonka Art Center and the Minnesota Science Museum.
